PCHA Honored as Finalist for Tampa Bay's Best Places to Work in 2011

The Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ) announced that PCHA is a finalist for Tampa Bay’s Best Places to Work in 2011. PCHA employees were each asked to anonymously answer a questionnaire directly to TBBJ. According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the employee survey measured 10 key engagement categories focusing on items including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.

Executive Director Debra Johnson was elated when she heard the news. “This is a glowing testament to the leadership of our Board of Commissioners and the hard work and dedication of every employee, manager and executive team member who make this a great place to work.”

Finalists were chosen in each size category according to their overall composite score. The PCHA is in the “Bigger” category, according to the number of full time employees.

The awards ceremony will be held on April 21 at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
