Palm Lake Village* is a 55 and over community. There are 475 one-story, one and two bedroom garden-style apartments (some of which have been recently renovated and include new energy-efficient HVAC and upgraded flooring). Section 8 vouchers are accepted. Monthly rent payments for the renovated units are as follows:
- One Bedroom: $560.00 per month, with a $300.00 required security deposit
- Two Bedroom: $625.00 per month, with a $300.00 required security deposit
Monthly rent includes: water, sewer, garbage, lawn care and pest control
In addition to monthly rent, the tenant is responsible for electricity, telephone and cable.
Pets are permitted with a $75.00 non-refundable pet fee.
A new state-of-the-art community center opened to residents in October of 2009. The facility includes includes a new clubhouse, pool and gardens. The clubhouse has a main hall, game room with library, full kitchen, laundry facilities, and small office where residents may access the internet. A gazebo and veterans memorial is the highlight of the park-like gardens that surround the complex. A pool, which is ADA-compliant, was requested by Palm Lake Village residents completes the new center.
