The Pinellas County Housing Authority will hold a free workshop for contractors on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the PCHA office located at 11479 Ulmerton Road in Largo.  The workshop is for all potential vendors and contractors and will provide information and guidance on PCHA’s procurement process.

PCHA and the Community Service Foundation will offer a free Household Budgeting Seminar at PCHA’s Central Office located at 11479 Ulmerton Road in Largo.  This two-part seminar series will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15^th and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 22^nd, 2012.

By participating in the budgeting seminars, participants will learn how to complete a budget plan based on household income and monthly expenses.  The budgeting seminars are for anyone who desires to save money and gain better control over their finances.  

These seminars will teach ways to:

•reduce energy expenses

•reduce monthly grocery bills

•save on costly car repairs

•take vacations for next to nothing

•strengthen credit scores.
