Recovery FundingAmerican Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 PCHA received over $1.3 million for capital improvements projects through the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. As a result, PCHA has fast-tracked much needed capital improvement projects.
Executive Director Debbie Johnson is excited about the additional property modernization and employment opportunities that this funding will allow. "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Capital Fund formula grant has positively impacted our capital improvements program, allowing us to move forward some projects and add additional projects to improve and modernize our properties. Keeping our properties in good condition for our residents continues to be a high priority for us. In addition, through contracts awarded because of this funding, additional employment opportunities are expected. There is no better time for this. ”
